How Can You Stop A Recurring Membership

URGENT ACTION FROM ANGOLA INTERVIEW

OF SMALL IS THE KINGDOM. HAPPY!

In an email I have received this letter that I think are worth sharing. You do not need comments. I leave you with it.

GREAT LETTER FROM A PRIEST WHO LIVES IN ANGOLA URUGUAY.

WORTH READ AND SPREAD!

I'm just a Catholic priest 20 years ago Uruguayan living in Angola.
I am happy and proud of my vocation.
gives me great pain the profound evil that priests should be a sign of love

of God, be a dagger in the lives of innocents.

No word as to justify such acts.
I see in many media, the expansion of a morbid topic, researching

details the life of a priest pedophile.
Thus it appears one of a U.S. city in the 70's, one in Australia in the 80's and well in front, other recent cases ...
is a curious little story and disregard for thousands and thousands of priests who are consumed by million children, adolescents and disadvantaged in the four corners of the world !
I think that the media do not care that I had to carry, by mined roads in 2002, many children malnourished from Cangumbe to Lwena (Angola), since neither the government was preparing and NGOs were not allowed.
There was news that had to bury dozens of small deaths among displaced by war and those who have returned, which have saved the lives of thousands of people in Moxico by one medical station at 90,000 km2, así como con la  distribución de alimentos y semillas; que hayamos dado la oportunidad de educación en estos  10 años y escuelas a más de 110.000 niños...

No es de interés que con otros sacerdotes hayamos tenido que socorrer la crisis humanitaria d e cerca de 15.000 personas en los acuartelamientos de la guerrilla, después de su rendición,  porque no llegaban los alimentos del Gobierno y la ONU.

's not news that 75 years a priest, Fr Roberto, the evening stroll the city of Luanda healing the street children, taking them to a shelter, so that gas detox, that hundreds of prisoners are literate, that other priests, as ; P. Stefano, are temporary homes for children who are beaten, abused and violated and to seek shelter.
not that Fray Maiato its 80 years, go home home comforting the sick and desperate.
's not news that more than 60,000 of the 400,000 priests and religious have left their land and his family to serve their brothers in a leper colony, in hospitals, refugee camps , orphanages for children accused of witch or orphans whose parents died with AIDS in the poorest schools, training centers, centers attention to zero ... positive or parishes and missions giving people reasons to live and love.
's not news that my friend, Fr Marcos Aurelio, to save some young people during the war

in Angola, it has transported Kalule to Dondo and returning to his mission has been gunned down in the road that Brother Francis with five women catechists, and go to help most remote rural areas have died in an assault on the street, dozens of missionaries in Angola have died for lack of health relief, by a simple malaria others have blown up due to a mine, visiting his people.
Kalula In the cemetery are the tombs of the first priests who came to the region ... None passes 40.

is not news to accompany the life of a Priest "normal" their daily lives, their difficulties and joys consuming his life quietly for the community it serves.

The truth is that we do not seek headlines, but simply bring the Good News, that news quietly began on the night of Passover.

More noise a falling tree, a forest grows.
not intend to make an apology for the Church or priests.
The priest is neither a hero nor a neurotic.
is a simple man, whose humanity is seeking to follow Jesus and serve his brothers.
;
Fr. Martin Lasarte (Salesian) - Angola

PD - proudly add that I have a nephew Salesian missionary priest in Angola HAPPY with his work there!
